U.S. Naval Academy Sports Medicine is seeking a qualified Strength & Conditioning Coach to design, implement, and evaluate sport-specific training programs for our athletes. This position works closely with the athletic training staff and coaching staff to optimize athletic performance while supporting injury prevention efforts.
The Strength & Conditioning Coach will design and implement periodized training programs for individual athletes and teams; conduct fitness assessments and biomechanical movement screenings; collaborate with athletic trainers to develop return-to-play conditioning progressions for injured athletes; supervise and instruct athletes during weight room and on-field training sessions; maintain training records and monitor athlete load management; educate athletes on proper recovery, nutrition timing, and sleep hygiene; and assist with facility management and equipment maintenance.
CSCS or USAW certification is required. Experience working with competitive athletes in a similar setting is preferred.
