Steadman Clinic Sports Medicine is building a roster of qualified Per Diem Athletic Trainers available for event, practice, and competition coverage throughout the Vail, CO metropolitan area. Per diem ATs provide flexible, high-quality athletic healthcare coverage across a variety of settings including high school athletics, club sports, and special events.
Per diem athletic trainers will provide on-site injury assessment, first aid, and emergency response; document injury incidents as required by contracting organization; communicate with supervising healthcare providers regarding athlete status and emergency referrals; maintain current emergency certifications; and provide professional, courteous service in all assigned settings.
BOC certification and state licensure required. Current CPR/AED certification required. Reliable transportation to assignments throughout the region required. Hours vary by assignment and are communicated in advance. This position is ideal for athletic trainers seeking supplemental income, those transitioning careers, or recent graduates building clinical experience. Competitive hourly rates with timely payment.
