New York Yankees is pleased to offer a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer position in conjunction with our accredited graduate athletic training education program. This position provides an exceptional foundation for early-career athletic trainers looking to develop clinical skills while completing graduate coursework.
Graduate assistants provide clinical athletic training services under the supervision of BOC-certified staff; gain experience in injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries; assist with game and practice coverage; participate in continuing education seminars and case presentations; contribute to research projects as interest and opportunity allow; and complete all requirements of the graduate academic program.
This is a two-year appointment with tuition waiver and a monthly stipend. Graduate assistants work approximately 20-25 hours per week in clinical settings. Applications from students accepted into affiliated graduate programs are strongly preferred.
