Hospital for Special Surgery Sports Medicine seeks a licensed Physical Therapist with a sports medicine focus to join our team in New York, NY. This position is ideal for a therapist passionate about working with active populations and athletes across a broad range of ages and competitive levels.
The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat sports-related musculoskeletal injuries using evidence-based therapeutic interventions; collaborate with athletic trainers, physicians, and strength coaches in a multidisciplinary team approach; develop individualized treatment plans with functional and sport-specific goals; provide return-to-sport assessments and clearance recommendations; supervise physical therapy assistants as applicable; maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements; and participate in clinical education programs.
