Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute is hiring an Exercise Physiologist to provide exercise testing, prescription, and counseling services in our Los Angeles, CA facility. This position works closely with our sports medicine and rehabilitation teams to support athletes and patients in achieving optimal fitness and health outcomes.
The Exercise Physiologist will conduct graded exercise tests and VO2 max assessments; perform body composition analysis using DEXA, BodPod, or skinfold techniques; design and supervise individualized exercise programs; contribute to cardiac rehabilitation or medically supervised fitness programs as applicable; analyze training data and provide athlete load management recommendations; collaborate with the sports medicine team on return-to-sport conditioning; provide nutrition counseling and hydration assessments; and contribute to health education programs and community outreach.
A master's degree in exercise physiology or a related field is required. ACSM-EP or ACSM-CEP certification is required. Experience working with athletic populations is strongly preferred.
